Discover the culture and history of the Jewish community through the ages with a historical walk of the fascinating quarters of Le Marais with either a half day, full or two day tours. Visit the Museum of Jewish Life, visit a couple of synagogues and Jewish memorials and taste the best falafels in Paris! Perhaps a walk of the lesser known Jewish quarters or a visit to the Jewish section of a famous cemetery dedicated to the extinguished souls during World War II.

A full day Jewish Immersion Tour would incorporate lesser known neighborhoods with memorials, museums and the first synagogue built after the French Revolution. The day would also include the Marais area, Shoah and Memorial and Museum of Jewish Life.

A second day would include a morning drive out to Drancy (former detention camp north of Paris). Drancy houses a small museum run by volunteers (former prisoners). A rendez-vous can be set up in advance for this visit.

Back in Paris for lunch at an excellent kosher restaurant followed by a guided tour of the stunning (rarely frequented by tourists) Nissim de Camondo Museum.
