France is a country of endless seasonal cheese and there is no greater pleasure than to spend an afternoon sampling them!
Discover charming open-air markets amongst ancient streets and step into one of the most famous cheese shops in Paris dating back to 1909. The Maître Fromager Affineur will greet you in his fromagerie, closed to the public, and take you through a discovery of French cheeses.
The tasting includes 5 seasonal ‘grand terroir’ cheeses, pain de campagne, confit figue-noix or pâte de coing (quince paté) with a bottle of sweet white wine to accompany the tastings…and this doesn’t even include the foie gras!
As the walk continues, you will have the opportunity to take in the historical aspects of the surrounding neighbourhood, as well as stop for a foie gras tasting to indulge in a French delicacy. The walk finishes in a beautiful square, lined with cafés, perfect for a late afternoon glass of wine.
