

Relive the momentous French Revolution, the uprising of the sans-culottes, the introduction of the guillotine, the Reign of Terror years under Robespierre, the rise of Napoleon and learn how the Revolution shaped Paris as it is today. Retrace Marie Antoinette’s last journey from the Conciergerie prison in her wooden tumbrel to her meeting Monsieur le Guillotine.
You will begin your tour at the tombs of Marie-Antoinette and Louis XVI and trace the last footsteps of these two famous figures.
Along the way, there is a short stop at a wonderful old charcuterie place (hams, cheeses from the Basque French region) for tastings and a glass of wine.
